CONTENT
PROJECTS
As part of my work with the Rottnest Foundation I am responsible for all external communications, including comprehensive quarterly newsletters, website articles and content and social media across three channels; LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
Working through an agency, I was commissioned to write blogs for local security firm Jones XL. Topics and keywords were carefully selected to improve website ranking and build professional reputation.
As an employee of the Student Marketing division of the Institute of Chartered Accountants I was responsible for identifying topics of interest for the target audience (high school and university students) and then researching and writing news articles that drew students to the website.
As a freelance writer, I have been providing social media content to small local businesses like Doggie Diplomas and Dahlia’s Cafe to encourage interaction and develop a community feel to the pages, with the aim of growing customer loyalty.
“Penned by Em has been instrumental in helping build our brand. We have been working with Emma for just over a year and she makes the whole process so easy and stress free. I would happily recommend her for collaborative, honest and reliable service.”

“Doggie Diplomas’ social media presence is more prominent as a direct result of Penned by Em’s targeted Facebook and Instagram post which broadcasts topical, up-to-date information. Penned by Em supplies direct, easily digestible content for all my clients. Penned by Em takes much of the promotion of Doggie Diplomas out of my hands allowing me to focus on my passion, Dog Training!”
